Riding to the beat of the music, indoor cycling is reinvented by adding in movement and choreographed weight tracks. 

Originating in New York City in the late 2000’s, Rhythm Riding has quickly grown to be one of the worlds most effective and safe forms of cardiovascular training.

Cycology Club opened in 2017 and was Australia’s first Rhythm Riding Club… and is now open at City Gym.

CYCOLOGY BY CITY GYM continues to be inspired by the best studios in London, New York, Los Angeles and is our platform to promote overall wellbeing by focusing on the connection between cardiovascular and mental health. CYCOLOGY is cashless environment.

How do I make a booking?

Our weekly schedule opens for booking at Monday 8am AEST and allows you to book classes until close of business the following Tuesday.  You can reserve your place in a class up to one hour prior to the start time of the class.  Within one hour you are welcome Walk-In subject to availability. 

Booking a class can only occur if you have a valid pack or membership active in your account

First Time Riders

First time riders we ask that you arrive half an hour prior to the start time of class to ensure that you are on-boarded appropriately.  Regular riders please arrive 15 minutes prior to the start time of the class. You will not be allowed to ride if you arrive after the start time of the class and will forfeit the ride.

Cancellation Policy

We have a 12 hour cancellation policy. If you cancel within 12 hours of the class start time you will forfeit the ride from your account. 

What shoes should be worn?

We provide cleated indoor cycling shoes on a first come first serve basis and are subject to availability. Riders are welcome to bring their own shoes noting we use SPD cleats. Riders can wear their own trainers however we recommend cleats for the maximum CYCOLOGY BY CITY GYM experience. 

Club Code

Riders will abide by a Club Code:

  1.  I will disconnect (this means no talking and no connected devices in class)
  2. I will follow the lead of my Cycologist
  3. I will stretch prior to and after class
  4. I will wear clean and appropriate attire
  5. I will ride hydrated and not on a full stomach
